Waterproof Make-Up Remover

You’re about to discover a waterproof make-up remover that is easier on your skin than most. So many others on the market leave you tugging on the delicate skin around your eyes to get the job done, which can lead to irritation. LouAna Organic Coconut Oil is a quick, easy and gentle way to take off even the most stubborn eye make-up.

1/4 teaspoon LouAna® Organic Coconut Oil
Cotton swabs

Warm LouAna Organic Coconut Oil by placing the entire jar in a bowl of warm water until the oil is liquefied. Dip a cotton swab in the oil. While keeping your eyes closed, gently rub the swab over your eye make-up. Repeat with a new swab until no residue remains. Let the residual coconut oil remain around your eyes as a moisturizer. Makes 1 treatment.

Hi Kit. Coconut oil alone can be used as a makeup remover. Some of our other recipes include other ingredients, such as essential oils, which should never go in the eyes.

I’m confused. In a few of your other beauty recipes, you said to make sure the product does not get into the eye area. Now you’re suggesting using it as a makeup remover.
I can therefore only see using it to remove eye makeup would be quite risky.

I just recently became aware of the amazing uses for coconutoil as well,as cocunut rub ( a paste like cocunut based product). I use this product in place of shaving cream ,skin moistureizer, lip balm, skin healant, protective layer between before gloves. Just to name a few..absolutely a can’t live without product.

I use the for eye makeup remover as well – however the cotton swabs were just too “small, wrong shaped, could poke my eye which made me uncomfortable. Now I get flat, rectangular, recycled cotton pads that work great for me!
