Spiced Sesame Peanuts

Peanuts get a sweet and savory kick with a bit of maple syrup and sesame seeds. The perfect road-trip fuel or protein-packed snacking.


Prep time: 10 minutes
Bake time: 15 to 18 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes


Yields: 2 cups


2 tablespoons LouAna® 100% Pure Coconut Oil
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
2 cups roasted peanuts, peeled
1/2 cup sesame seeds


Preheat oven to 350° F.

In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, whisk together the coconut oil, maple syrup, kosher salt, cinnamon and cayenne. Bring just to a boil and remove from heat. Fold in peanuts and sesame seeds. Spread on a baking sheet.

Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool.
