TOTAL TIME

25 minutes

SERVINGS

Serves: 8

INGREDIENTS

2 pounds boneless, skinless turkey breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 (16 oz.) bottle Tony Chachere’s® Injectable Butter & Jalapeño Marinade
2 1/2 gallons LouAna® Peanut Oil
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Marie’s® Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing, to serve on the side

DIRECTIONS

Combine turkey and marinade in a large heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; seal. Refrigerate for 2 hours, turning occasionally.

Pour LouAna Peanut Oil into a deep fryer; heat to 350°F.

Place flour in a large, shallow dish. Combine milk and eggs in a second shallow dish, stirring well with a whisk. Remove turkey from marinade; discard excess marinade. Sprinkle turkey evenly with salt and pepper; dredge in flour. Dip turkey in milk mixture; dredge in flour again. Fry at 350°F for 1 1/2 minutes on each side or until done.

Serve with Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing on the side for dipping.

SAFETY FIRST

There are two options when frying turkey nuggets. You can take the traditional approach and use propane fryers. They should be used outdoors in accordance with the manufacturer’s safety procedures. Never use them on a wooden deck or leave them unattended. The second option is to use a Masterbuilt® Electric Deep Fryer that can be used indoors on kitchen countertops, tables, inside garages, and on covered patios. Be sure to always keep children and pets away. But either way you choose, always remember:
• Wear oven mitts.
• Avoid use of alcohol and keep a fire extinguisher nearby, as you would with any type of cooking.
